Apple chips



Ingredients:

2 firm apples
cinnamon sugar shaker
2 non stick baking sheet
mandolin slicer 
apple corer 
oven  

Directions

1. Thinly slice apples and lay them out on a non stick baking sheet. 
2. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture over the apple slices. 
3. Bake apple slices in the oven at 200 degrees for 1 hour.
4. Flip apple slices over and lightly dust the other side with sugar mixture and bake an additional hour.
This recipe is good if you are going to be home for a couple hours and want to enjoy the smell of baked apples floating through your house or apartment.

Having a apple corer is very handy but not necessary you can have the pretty star center in your apple chips if you choose to not use the corer.  

I do recommend buying a mandolin slicer because it makes slicing the apples so much easier. If you don't have a mandolin slicer thinly slice the apples as thin as you can.
