Homemade Pesto

1 package of basil
3 cloves of garlic
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 

I've been wanting to make home made pesto for a while now and since I've been using it in quite a few recipes and I thought I should try making it on my own! I liked this batch a lot but next time I will use less garlic (1-2 cloves) but this batch will keep those pesky mosquitoes away! Also I want to buy a wedge of parmasan cheese and grate it instead of using it out of a container. 


This is how you make the homemade pesto: Wash basil leaves and discard stems, chop leaves and place into food processor Add Parmesan cheese and minced garlic to basil. Pour olive oil and turn food processor on high until everything is blended into a nice paste.
